Idiot poster

This probably falls in the category of "You shouldn't dignify this with a response," but it irks me that an idiot poster on Crossports can say "fags" and actually have other posters DEFEND his comments! What the heck is this? You can bet your behind that if the poster had said the "n" word instead of "fags," the thread would be gone and the poster permanently banned.

I don't care if he was trying to make a joke. He lost me at "fags."

And as for the thread itself, we get it, Ed Walsh '69 is a great guy and Donna Hanover is a "witch." The thread had gone on too long before our enlightened poster reacted terribly to sader1970's clever response to his misuse of "alumna." Thankfully, some posters rightfully wanted to kill the thread, and hopefully it's permanently dead. But I sort of doubt it.
