I originally included Holy Cross content in my other blog, Three-Wide Off Four, but realized HC fans probably have little interest in the NASCAR content, and the NASCAR visitors probably don't care about Holy Cross athletics (although of course, they should.)
So I now have two blogs. Look for some different things here than I'd typically post over on the message board on Crossports. Go Crusaders!

I cannot get NASCAR as you watch people (politically correct gender-neutral) drive cars around and around and is about exciting as watching horses or greyhounds run around and round or golf or bowling. All of this can be exciting to do (maybe not the greyhounds) but to watch? Booooorrrrinnnggg!
Oh geez, here we go. Not boring at all, 1970! Well some races can be boring, just like occasional events in any sport. But the big factor is understanding what's going on in the race. It takes time and commitment as a viewer to begin understanding what's really happening in the races. Sure it's cars going around a track, but there's a lot more to it. And I love the speed.
